This is where Root Cause Therapy comes in.

Root Cause Therapy is a body-based therapeutic approach that works directly with your unconscious mind and nervous system to identify and resolve the original events, beliefs, and stored emotions shaping how you think, feel, respond and experience your life.

What’s actually happening

Most of what you experience isn’t being driven by conscious choice. It’s shaped by patterns formed earlier, through experiences your system didn’t fully process at the time.

Some come from your own life. Others sit deeper, carried through family dynamics or generational patterns you didn’t consciously choose but have adapted to.

Your body responded, your nervous system adapted, beliefs were formed, and over time, that shaped how you think, decide, and act. Not because it’s who you are, but because it’s what helped you cope, belong, and stay safe.

The problem is, these patterns don’t update on their own. You can change your strategy, your environment, even your behaviour, but if the underlying imprint is still there, it continues to shape your experience.

This is why things repeat, and why willpower alone doesn’t create lasting change.

How Root Cause Therapy works

Rather than only working with what’s happening now, we work with the origin, the specific event, experience, or belief where the pattern began.

Access the unconscious

You’re guided into a focused, relaxed state where your unconscious becomes more accessible.

Trace the origin

We identify where the pattern first formed and how it has been shaping your experience.

Release the emotional charge

We work with the stored emotional and nervous system imprint held from that time, not just mentally, but physically and somatically, allowing your system to process and release what it couldn’t at the time.

Integrate

As the pattern resolves, your system updates naturally, and new responses, clarity, and direction begin to emerge.

Because we’re working at the level where the pattern began, this can bring up earlier experiences, including memories, sensations, or emotional responses from childhood or past situations.

You remain aware and in control throughout. We work at the pace your system allows, so everything is processed in a way that feels manageable and safe.

Why this works and what changes

Most approaches work at the level of the story, talking about what happened and trying to reframe it. This work goes deeper, to where the pattern actually lives, in the body and the unconscious.

We’re not just understanding it. We’re releasing the emotional and nervous system charge that has been driving it.

That’s why change doesn’t need to be forced afterwards. It happens naturally because what was underneath has shifted.
